LA BARACCA SUL MARE is the name of Daniela Dallavalle Spa headquarter. Inaugurated in January 2015 in Carpi (Modena), it is a bright, modern and dynamic white structure of about 6000 square meters, created in order to welcome all Lovers of our world as well as events that are in line with our company philosophy.
Why “La Baracca sul mare”?
The romantic name that Daniela Dallavalle has chosen for her creative and representative headquarter, interprets her professional and life values. It recovers the concept of essentiality, functionality and solidity of a shelter, firstly created in order to offer a shelter to the people who want to share a space and some time together. But not only, it represents an ideal basis where to start in order to face the limitless amount of opportunities and dreams to be realized that life gives us.

The history
As a consequence of 2012 Emilia’s earthquake, Daniela Dallavalle and Giuliano Cavaletti, mind and soul on Daniela Dallavalle Spa, decide to rebuild the future and a new headquarter that could communicate Company’s identification pillars: share, solidity, clearness and respect for nature.
An international public announcement is therefore published, in which 92 architectural firms participate, among which the B+B Associati is the winner with the inspired “Fram-menti Vitali” project.
External architecture
The project represents the evolution of a sole “creative Pangea” that during its fragmentation phase generates three buildings – which represent Fashion, Art and Design.
By separating they have left space to the internal court where natural elements such as water, wood, vegetation, predominate and multiply, mirroring in the reflecting glass windows.
This composition continuously modify space perception, offering spectacular and unexpected points of view.
The entire architecture is a compact but ethereal prism, thanks to the external covering characterized by a white Krion surface and wide glass windows that make the structure very bright.

The building identifies the Company for its image, but especially for the high technological content and the respect demonstrated towards nature: it is, though, inserted in the environmental certification class A with NZAB classification (near zero energy building) and is characterized by innovative eco-friendly, thermo-hydraulic and demotic architectural aspects that are almost unique at a national level.
Among them: 204 foundation iron and concrete poles that make the building highly anti-seismic, 45 geothermic probes positioned at 120 meters depth, perimeter lighting and photovoltaic system, floor and parietal heating and chilled beams cooling.
Internal design
Internal environments of Baracca are entirely conceived and developed by Daniela Dallavalle that have projected in you, with her unique sensibility, the symbology of a personal, artistic and professional path, deeply tied to her personality. Through a plurality of suggestions, installations, products displayed and the construction of the environment itself, the environment is a real discovery experience of the designer.
You are welcomed and fascinated by the attention to detail of each environment, by the displayed artistic creations, by real product installations, by the customization of floors, by the floating reflections on the walls as well as by the autograph dedications to Lovers, by collaborators and in general by the “Joie de vivre”.
Particular attention is paid to the theme of the valorization of recovery or imperfect objects and to the creation of harmonies of contrasts, such as the combined utilization of noble or raw materials, natural or treated materials to create unexpected combinations that reveal an unexpected beauty.
